Press release: A joint investigation by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office and the Liberty Police Department has led to the arrest of a Village of Liberty man on charges of selling crack cocaine.
Christian Garcia, age 26, of Mill St. was arrested August 29, 2019 and charged with 2 counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, a class B Felony. It is alleged that Garcia sold drugs on 2 occasions to an undercover officer in the vicinity of Academy Street in the village.
The investigation was the result of complaints received by the Liberty Police Department regarding illegal activity in that area.
