‘A night of psychedelic sound immersion’

NARROWSBURG, NY — The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance’s (DVAA) fall cultural series wraps up on Saturday, December 14 at 8 p.m. with Livingston Manor-based electronic music artists Slippery Stairs, psychedelic band Sunwatchers and a light show by visual artist Macrodose. 

The performance will take place at the Tusten Theatre. Tickets cost $25 at the door and $20 for members in advance. Kids 12 and under are admitted free. Tickets can be purchased by calling 8445/252-7576 or online at www.delawarevalleyartsalliance.org.

Emerald Ballroom 

NARROWSBURG, NY — On Friday, December 13, the Emerald Ballroom is hosting a double-header event starting at 9 p.m. “Somewhere between punk and blues” Radiator King will open the show, and “big-city alt-country” performer Don Dilego will follow. 

Admission costs $5. The venue is located down the alleyway next to Narrowsburg Proper.

At the Tavern: Rafter’s round up

CALLICOON, NY — On Friday, December 13, singer-songwriter George Kilby Jr. will perform from 8 to 10 p.m.

On Saturday, December 14, O&Co returns to give a “Xmas Spectacular” performance from 8 to 10 p.m.

Sunday, December 15 continues the weekly open mic, hosted by Elizabeth Rose, from 3 to 6 p.m. The jazz stylings of the Hal Galper Trio follows at 6:30 p.m.

HONESDALE, PA — RiverVibes invites “folkZinger” Christine Lavin back to the Cooperage stage on Friday, December 13 at 7:30 p.m. The New York Times calls Christine Lavin “A garrulous comic observer of contemporary manners.”

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for Lavin’s knitting circle. Tickets are available online at www.thecooperageproject.org for $20 or $25 at the door. This event is BYOB. Comfort food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
