PORT JERVIS, NY — The River Valley Artists Guild will present “End of Summer,” an exhibit at four venues around town, from Monday, August 13 to Monday, September 24. The exhibition spaces will be Bon Secours Hospital cafeteria, Port Jervis City Hall, Port Jervis Free Library and Deerpark Town Hall.

“End of Summer” presents images that reflect the heat and light of the end of summer. Included in the exhibit are color pencil and pastel drawings, and watercolor and oil paintings. There will be new work by featured artists Joe Petrosi and Samantha Petrosi, father-daughter artist members of the River Valley Artists Guild, with ongoing shows by Susan Miiller, Judith Weiss and Joan Kehlenbeck.

New at City Hall, 20 Hammond St., you can view Joe Petrosi’s color pencil drawings and Samantha Petrosi’s watercolor paintings. They are in the mayor’s office and can be seen Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In an ongoing exhibit at the Port Jervis Library’s Community Room, at 138 Pike St., you can view Miillers’ sky- and sunset-themed pastels and paintings, Monday through Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. At Bon Secours, Weiss’ summer-themed expressionistic paintings will continue on view from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the first floor cafeteria at 160 E. Main St. And at the Deerpark Town Hall, 420 Route 209, Huguenot, the work of Kehlenbeck, president of the River Valley Artists Guild, will be on display Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
