OREGON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Wayne County Coroner sent the following email on the morning of Thursday, November 28:

“At 4:52 a.m. Thanksgiving morning, the Wayne County Coroner was dispatched to the scene of a fatal crash on Route 191 North, near 1266 Hancock Highway, Honesdale, Oregon Township.

“The coroner pronounced 21 year old Garrett T. Chellis of Lebanon Township., Honesdale, Wayne County dead at the scene at 5:47 a.m.

“The Coroner's investigation will continue today to determine the cause of the cause and manner of death. 

“Pennsylvania State Police at Honesdale are also investigating."
