HONESDALE, PA — There are major staff changes happening at Honesdale’s community hub, The Cooperage Project.

As announced in June, Ryanne Jennings, The Cooperage’s current executive director, is moving two blocks over to lead the Wayne County Community Foundation. Her last day will be at the end of September. Arrah Fisher, program manager at The Cooperage Project, who has worked closely with Jennings over the past year and a half, will be stepping up as interim executive director to fill Jennings’ shoes.

Alex Johnson, development coordinator, has been with The Cooperage Project for more than two years. The press release states, “[Johnson] has been a tremendous asset to our organization working on marketing, volunteer coordination and fundraising.” Johnson will also be leaving in September and, like Jennings, not going far. She and her husband will be opening a restaurant in Honesdale. Details will be announced in the coming months. Laura Impastato will join the team to take on the role of development and outreach manager.

The Cooperage Project has also announced a new full-time position, manager of the new agriculture and food program, filled by Jenna Wayne Mauder. “Jenna will work on enhancing support and programming related to agriculture and food and is really looking forward to developing more partnerships and events around those topics in the upcoming year.”
