One day last week I had the pleasure of meeting Yisroel Kreitman. He said, “I read your column”, I said “do you like it?” he said “oh yes,” we hugged, he has such a cute giggle. I spent some time atThe Narrowsburg farmers market and met Amy Schoen who came up to me and asks, “Do you write the Lake Huntington News, I really enjoy reading your column.”

With Thanksgiving coming up, I am truly thankful for my readers.

To all our EMS friends. As you know The Cochecton Ambulance crew is looking for a replacement ambulance. Although ours has served us well, the ole girl is almost 20 years old. We are a stand alone organization. We receive no public funding or taxes. Unlike most believe, we are not part of the Fire Department, we are just tenants. Our numbers are few, but we have been accomplishing our mission to be part of the answer to serving our residents. We are always looking for members to join our ranks.

You will notice we have posted a fund raising thermometer at our park, we maintain. If you can help with our raising efforts. Please send donations to Cochecton Volunteer Ambulance, P.O. Box 4, Lake Huntington, New York 12752. Any help is appreciated. Either by donating to our fund raising efforts, your time as a member, or even helping us find a new ambulance to help us continue to serve our community.
