How are you all doing, I just got over that horrible cold that comes with a sore throat and cough. Hope I am done for the year.

Facebook is a great thing, I was on it over the weekend and I found out what was going on in town.  Thank you to Keith Krauss for cleaning the nasty stuff off of the Lake Huntington Presbyterian church door after Halloween. I read it was gross sticky brown stuff that stunk like seafood, and that it came off with soap water and some elbow grease. Keith you did a great job, it really is sad that someone was so disrespectful to the house of God.

The Cochecton Ambulance was saying how hard it is to find a house at night when it is not marked. If you do not have numbers on your house that can be seen by the road, please try to make your numbers visible for emergency vehicles. When the volunteers of the ambulance crews are out trying to get to your loved ones to help and they have to waste time looking for you house, it’s no good. If you call for an ambulance try to put the outside light on to help them locate you faster.

Sullivan West Elementary Children are having a little fun with hosting a food drive. Food drive collection is from Nov. 1 to Nov. 14. Food will be dispersed to local food pantries for the Holiday season: Narrowsburg, Callicoon and Jeffersonville. If anyone wants to contribute they can drop off food at the HS or Elementary lobby. The fun comes in for the winning grade, they get to silly string Mr. Kevin Carbone, the assistant principal. So try to help these kids help others, it’s a win-win situation.  Save the date, Sunday January 6, 2019, the Harlem Wizards vs. the Sullivan West staff at 3 p.m. at the Lake Huntington Campus. Tickets will be sold online only & go on sale the last week of November. General Admission for students & seniors is $10, adults are $12, reserved tickets are $18 and courtside tickets are $30 (with extras).

Save the Date Tuesday January 1, there will be a New Years chicken BBQ at the Lake Hunting Fire Co. from 2 to 5 p.m. To get your tickets in advance call 845/932-8514. Take out only.

Keep smiling and have a great week, you can e-mail me at leeniebeans@citlink.net or call 845/252-3568 if you have any news. You can always check me out at riverreporter.com in Community living.
