Dated April 1919, this picture of Peggy Runway Falls in Narrowsburg, NY is an example of the runways used during the old days of logging, to shoot logs down to the river in order to raft them on the Delaware River south to Trenton, Easton, or Philadelphia. For some time it was believed that a mast used for the ship “Constitution” was taken from this location. Later research disclosed that the mast probably came from Masthope.
