JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — The New York State Police in Liberty have located a woman who was reported missing. Marlene Pesekow was found deceased late Tuesday evening, February 11. The investigation is ongoing. There appears to be no foul play in her death. Pesekow was a resident at the Jeffersonville Adult Home located at 4806 State Route 52. 

Pesekow, who was 74 year old and had dementia, is reported to have left the home on foot at approximately 5  a.m. earlier that day.

Police said she may have been attempting to travel to the New York City area.
