Special Weather Statement issued December 13 at 12:52PM EST by NWS Binghamton
...PATCHY FREEZING DRIZZLE POSSIBLE UNTIL 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON... Rain and drizzle will overspread Wayne and Pike Counties in northeast Pennsylvania and Sullivan County in New York by 2 PM. A few locations mostly at higher elevations have air temperatures and road surfaces below freezing. This could lead to slippery road conditions due to freezing rain. Most areas will see just plain rain and drizzle with no problems. If you are planning travel into the higher elevations be aware that roads could become slippery. Use extreme caution if you encounter icy roads. Listen to NOAA Weather Radio, your local media or follow us on social media for the latest updates on this situation.
