LIBERTY, NY — The Sullivan County Rural Health Network, a partnership among many area organizations that collaborate to address the health needs of the entire county, on January 6 announced the debut of its new website, www.sullivanrhn.com

“This site has been many months in the making, as it combines eye-catching design and photographs with details about why this network exists and what it does,” said public health director Nancy McGraw.

Sullivan County Public Health Services is the lead organization for the Sullivan County Rural Health Network, which is funded by a grant from the New York State Department of Health’s Charles D. Cook Office of Rural Health.

The purpose of the Rural Health Network is to coordinate health and human services with community partners, to work together to leverage limited resources, and to ensure an effective and efficient service delivery system to improve health outcomes in Sullivan County.
Several committees of the network meet monthly to discuss and develop strategies to collectively address related issues.
