Mary S. Murphy of Narrowsburg, NY, Whitehall, PA and of Florida, a long-time resident of the area, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center, Honesdale. The daughter of the late Albert and Rhoda Adelaide (Buch) Suhr, she was born February 9, 1929, in Narrowsburg. She was 92 years old.       

Mary was a retired manager of the ship building department of Bethlehem Steel Corporation.

She was the widow of William Berger. He passed away in 2009. She was a member of the Tusten Historical Society.  

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Sullivan, of Gouverneur, NY and her nephew Steve Sullivan, also of Gouverneur.  

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial of her cremains will be in Glen Cove Cemetery, Narrowsburg.
