I've got a ton going on right now. Between my normal workload, the concerts and events, I'm about at max.
But here's the thing. I can't be maxed.
Because in between all of these things, I'm working on a brand new riverreporter.com
That's right. BRAND NEW. Learning a new CMS is always tricky. Sure, the guys on the other end are making it easy. But there's no manual for using the site. It's pretty intuitive... once you lean the basics. So, Im making landing pages, and linking things throughout before we go live with it.
The pages will be more responsive and dynamic... even on your cell phone. It should be easier to log in, place an ad, and FINALLY... a search function that works right.
To practice, everyone's been uploading last week's content to the new site. Because, while we could have just batch imported it, it seemed smarter for everyone to learn ahead of time, and work out the kinks and the bugs with the developers.
And so, this week's blog is a short and sweet one. I'll load some photos here, but I really need to get back to working on the new site.
So, have fun looking at my boxing photos. I'm off to build some more landing pages, and then off to another night at Bethel Woods photographing!
