Family Council holiday movie show

LIBERTY, NY — On Sunday, December 22, the Family Council of the Care Center at Sunset Lake used its new projector screen system to show the classic movie “A Christmas Carol.”

The Family Council has existed at the facility for almost 30 years. Members consist of family members and friends of residents, past and present. Thanks to generous donations, memberships and memorials, the council, over the years, has been able to purchase televisions, pianos, patio furniture and a patio awning, as well as providing entertainment, including gifted performers from the Shandelee Music Festival.

All attending were happy to celebrate the council’s gift this holiday season.
