LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — Amanda Langseder, managing director of Sullivan 180, has joined the New Hope Community board of directors.
Langseder’s appointment follows four new board members approved in June. All will provide strategic direction and oversight to the nonprofit organization, which provides person-centered services and supports to people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
“Amanda represents the best of nonprofit leadership, spearheading initiatives to create a healthier generation here in Sullivan County. We are pleased to welcome her unique perspective to our board,” said Debra McGinness, New Hope CEO. “New Hope Community is honored to have her expertise and we look forward to Amanda’s input.”
Before joining Sullivan 180, Langseder spent four years at Garnet Health, where she worked as the director of community health. Prior to her work at Garnet, she led the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program at Sullivan County Public Health.
Langseder was approved for an initial two-year term at New Hope Community’s September board meeting and can serve a maximum of six years.
