CALLICOON CENTER, NY — On Sunday, August 1, the owners of 131 cars—antique, classic, custom, contemporary muscle cars, high-octane hot rods, not to mention motorcycles and even a Volkswagon Beetle transformed into a rolling-rat—turned out in force for the seventh annual Town of Callicoon car show, held as a benefit for the local town park.
The winners:
Antique Car (Pre-1939): Tom Flynn, 1937 Packard 120 roadster
Classic Era (1953-1963): Athan Maroulis, 1961 Dodge Polara
Late Model Era (1973-1985): Ed Butler, 1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
Late Model Era (1986-present): Marc and Sara Wittman, 2010 Dodge Challenger DTR8
