Civil War comes home at the Erie Station

COCHECTON, NY — The Cochecton Preservation Society will host its 17th annual Coffee Tea and History presentation at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 24 at the Erie Station.
Guest speakers James Richardson and Davis Bernitt portray Civil War brothers Jim and George Anderson as they arrived at the depot after the war. The brothers meet and talk about their battles, how they survived, and their feelings as they return home, as soldiers who fought—on opposite sides.
Admission and light refreshments are free, and donations are appreciated.
The station is located at 8537 State Rte. 97.
