Tentatively, a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 21 at 6 p.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 242 Carbondale Rd. in Waymart, PA. The family will receive friends and relatives in the church from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Interment will be in Calverton National Cemetery in Long Island, NY.

Frances Helen Chojnacki, 79, of Hawley, PA, passed away June 10, 2023 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center in Honesdale, PA. Frances was born September 13, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY. A Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 30 at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, 123 Richardson Ave., Shohola, PA. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery in Shohola, following the service.

Ann A. (Hulse) Culligan, 91, of Monticello, NY, passed away June 12, 2023 at home. Ann was born December 20,1931. A memorial celebration of the lives of Ann and her husband Jim (who died December 28, 2022) will be held on Saturday, July 29, beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the Michael Ritchie Big Barn at the Center for Discovery, 54 Discovery Ridge Rd., Hurleyville, NY.

A celebration of life was held June 16 at Crosspoint Bible Church in Honesdale. Interment followed at Indian Orchard Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Wesley Room of Central United Methodist Church, 205 11th St. in Honesdale, followed by a celebration of life. A private interment at Willow View Cemetery in Clifford, PA, will be held at the convenience of the family.
