Thomas Ralph Atkinson, 88, of Honesdale, PA, passed away January 21, 2024. Thomas was born June 30, 1935. A blessing service was held January 25 at Hessling Murray Funeral Home in Honesdale. Interment with military honors will be in Glen Dyberry Cemetery in Honesdale in the spring.

Margaret (Margie) Monaghan Lilje, 78, of Honesdale, PA, passed away January 23, 2024. Margaret was born November 2, 1945. A funeral Mass was held January 27 at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Honesdale. Inurnment will be at a later date in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery in Honesdale.

Erna K. Nehls, 93, of Honesdale, PA, passed away January 19, 2024 at Wayne Woodlands Manor in Waymart, PA. Erna was born July 5, 1930 in Honesdale. Memorial services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Lillie was born September 12, 1940 in Garden City, NY. Private cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.

2. DeWitt Reynolds, 86, of Montrose, PA, passed away January 23, 2024 at Allied Hospice in Scranton, PA. DeWitt was born September 11, 1936 in Montrose. Services were held January 29 at Birchardville Baptist Church in Montrose.

William E. Richner, 90, of Hallstead, PA and formerly of Honesdale, PA, passed away January 21, 2024. A funeral service was held January 27 at the Stateline Evangelical Wesleyan Church in Great Bend, PA, followed by military honors. Spring interment will be made in the South Windsor Cemetery.

Wilson (Bill) Smith

Wilson (Bill) Smith, 89, of State College, PA and formerly of Honesdale, PA, passed away January 24, 2024. Wilson was born November 1, 1934 in Honesdale. A memorial service for Wilson will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 31 S. Duke St. in Lancaster, PA at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 3.
