The funeral Mass will be Thursday, February 8 at 10 a.m. at Blessed Virgin Mary Queen Of Peace Church, 314 Chestnut Ave. in Hawley.

A memorial service was held February 4 at Howell Family Funeral Home, 269 Belmont St. in Waymart, PA. Interment will be private in Sandy Banks Cemetery in Greenfield Township, PA.

Betty Madelyn Hedden, 92, of Honesdale, PA, passed away February 2, 2024. Betty was born March 24, 1931 in Laurella, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 8 in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home in Honesdale. Friends can visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 7 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Interment will follow in Torrey Cemetery in Honesdale.
