A funeral Mass was celebrated March 27 at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Honesdale. Interment with military honors followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Honesdale.

Shirley A. (Reed) Ostrander, 88, of Honesdale, PA, passed away March 22, 2024 at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA. Shirley was born November 28, 1935 in Honesdale. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 3 at Hessling Murray Funeral Home, 428 Main St. in Honesdale at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Calkins Union Cemetery in Damascus Township, PA. Friends can visit on April 3 at 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
