NARROWSBURG, NY — Ronald Rasmussen was honored for his 65 years as a Narrowsburg fire commissioner.

In December,  he was presented with an award for his extraordinary long service by Jill Holland, Region 10 director Fire District Commissioner Association of Fire Districts of the State of New York (AFDSNY).

“It was an honor and a pleasure to present this award for so many years of service as a fire commissioner,” she said. “I enjoyed listening to Commissioner Rasmussen share his stories of being a fire commissioner throughout the years.”
