Mrs. Grete H. Tiedemann of Eldred, NY died Thursday, July 18 at Bon Secours Community Hospital. She was 92.

She was born May 22, 1927 in Vollersode, Germany.

Grete worked as a bookkeeper at Home Insurance in Manhattan and, upon retirement, moved to Eldred. She was married to Karl E. Tiedemann until his passing in 2009.

There will be no visitation, and funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Cremation was held at MacLennan Hall Crematorium in Milford, PA.
