COCHECTON, NY — This eagle clearly thought the roadside guardrail off Route 97 in Cochecton was a good perch. TRR’s Amanda Reed snapped this picture from about six feet away on April 29 and the bird didn’t seem to mind a bit. A fellow bald eagle was on the other side of the guard rail feeding on a deer carcass.
