DICKSON CITY, PA – The Texas Roadhouse restaurant hosted an October fundraiser to support the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute (NRCI), and the result was $3,498 to ease the burden of cancer in northeastern PA.
Restaurant guests were able to round up their checks or receive a free appetizer with a donation of at least $5.
All funds will stay local and support NRCI’s community programming and services.
NRCI is a nonprofit community-based agency serving seven counties in northeast Pennsylvania. Focusing on surveillance, community and patient services, as well as hospital and practice support services, the Cancer Institute invests 100 percent of its resources locally.
