They’re moving on up to BOCES middle school

LIBERTY, NY — All local school districts celebrate high school graduation. Some celebrate elementary students “moving up” to the middle school big leagues.

On June 7, the Elementary Program at Sullivan BOCES held a “stepping up” ceremony at the Rubin Pollack Education Center for 17 sixth-graders moving to the middle school program. Administrators, staff, and parents attended this milestone celebration.

“We are so proud of our students and wish them much success in middle school,’ said Megan Becker, executive principal of the Elementary Program. “We will truly miss them in the elementary program.”

The students are Judith Altman, Tri-Valley; Joshuel Argenal, Monticello; Jahdel Arroyo, Monticello; Steven Boynton Jr., Monticello; Bailey Callendar, Fallsburg; Nathan Canales, Fallsburg; Lucas Cox-O’Dell, Port Jervis; Makai Cruz, Sullivan West; Shane Greene, Liberty; Faith Matthews, Monticello; Kelbin Morales, Monticello; Matilda Morcelo, Fallsburg; Jasper Ramos, Ellenville; Gerald Stanton, Sullivan West; Michael Tenney, Liberty; Isabella VanWolde, Fallsburg; and Brennan Young, Middletown.
