Videos show scenes on day of Barryville shooting

BARRYVILLE,  NY — Two  videos show some of the action on July 2, the day a trooper shot 63-year-old Paul Gosselin, a physician from Augusta, Maine, after a stand-off at Il Castello restaurant in Barryville, NY (read the full story here).

At about 30 seconds into the first video, below, from security camera footage supplied by the Oasis restaurant, Gosselin’s red car appears, and then a trooper on foot. Soon after that, a trooper’s cruiser is seen chasing after the red car. The two vehicles circle the Oasis's gas pumps several times. Gosselin then pulls up to a pump and backs out. He's next seen traveling north on Route 97 in the direction of Il Castello restaurant, with the cruiser following after:
