Wayne County 4-H Teen Council hosts 4-H Cloverbud Day Camp

HONESDALE, PA  — Wayne County 4-H Teen Council held another successful 4-H Cloverbud Day Camp. 4-H Cloverbuds from all over the county came to participate in engaging and educational games led by Teen Council.

The 4-H Cloverbud day camp was held for young Wayne County 4-H members between the ages of five and 10. Teen Council also received help from fellow 4-H members aged 11 and up who participated in leadership positions throughout the day at different stations.

The day included stations centered around arts and crafts with 4-H elements scattered throughout. Some stations consisted of tote coloring, bracelet/keychain making and an extra-special station where 4-H members made a 4-H tree out of their handprint and surrounded it with stickers representing everything they love, e.g. horses, race cars, animals, trains, rainbows etc.

Artwork such as this was displayed in the Red Metal Building exhibit hall during the Wayne County Fair, August 2-10.

The 4-H Cloverbuds are extremely proud of their work and hope everyone saw it displayed in the Red Metal Building.
