HONESDALE, PA — Leaders from Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) were presented with a proclamation from the Wayne County Commissioners that declared August 6-12 as National Health Center Week.
The health center highlighted its commitment to accessible care, the recruitment of highly-qualified providers and more.
Also stressed were outreach and enrollment services, which are offered free for all county residents who need to reapply for Medicaid benefits.
WMCHC is a federally qualified health center with 18 office sites across four counties. It is a clinical affiliate of Wayne Memorial Health System, Inc. Services include primary care, women’s health, pediatrics, dental and behavioral health services as well as urgent care/walk-in centers for non-life-threatening medical needs.
